Day 1 - Depart USA
Overnight transatlantic flight to Berlin. (Flight not included in package price)

Day 2 - Arrive Berlin
On arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This afternoon you enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city highlighting the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate and the Kurfurstendamm. Dinner is at your hotel this evening. (Dinner)

Day 3 - Berlin - Copenhagen (2 nights)
You travel north to Rostock and then cruise across the Baltic to Denmark, where you soon arrive in wonderful Copenhagen, the Danish capital. This evening, why not visit the famous Tivoli gardens? (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 4 - Copenhagen sightseeing & at leisure
You will see the Little Mermaid, the Renaissance Stock Exchange, the Royal Amalienborg Palace and the Christiansborg Palace on your morning sightseeing tour. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city.. (Scandinavian Breakfast)

Day 5 - Copenhagen - Stockholm
First you cross the Oresund into Sweden. Then you continue your journey travelling north through lush forests and meadows to the resort of Granna at the head of Lake Vattern. Then northwards to beautiful island-ringed Stockholm, Sweden's capital. (Scandinavian Breakfast)

Day 6 - Stockholm - At Sea
This morning's sightseeing tour with a local guide shows you the Royal Palace and City Hall. Stockholm is constructed on a maze of islands and criss-crossed by many bridges, so it is a pleasant city to wander through, which you can do before you board ship for your mini-cruise to Finland. (Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 7 - At Sea - Helsinki
An early arrival in Finland's capital allows you time for a guided tour showing you Finlandia Hall, the Senate and Market Squares, broad boulevards and the domed Russian Church. Then free time to shop and sightsee further before checking in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. (Continental Breakfast)

Day 8 - Helsinki - St. Petersburg (3 nights)
Today you drive to the border with Russia, passing the timber centre of Kotka and on through the town of Vyborg. Then you continue across the forests of Karelia to St. Petersburg for your three night stay. With dinner tonight enjoy some complimentary champagne! (ScandinavianBreakfast / Dinner)

Day 9 - St. Petersburg sightseeing & at leisure
Featured on your sightseeing tour this morning are the Tsar's Winter Palace, Nevsky Prospekt, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Statue of Peter the Great and a visit of the St. Peter and Paul fortress. Afterwards, the remainder of the day is at leisure. You may wish to see the summer Palace of Empress Catherine the Great or maybe visit the residence of Peter the Great in Petrodvorets. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 10 - St. Petersburg at leisure
Today there's time to relax in St. Petersburg. Why not visit one of the greatest collections of paintings and objets d'art in the world at the Hermitage Museum in the Tsar's Winter Palace? This evening you enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers and Tour Director in a local restaurant. (Buffet Breakfast / Dinner)

Day 11 - St. Petersburg - train to Moscow (2 nights)
Time to maybe lose yourself in the Gostiny Dvor, the city's largest and absolutely huge department store. After lunch in the afternoon, you take the 5-hour train trip to Moscow. (Continental Breakfast / Lunch)

Day 12 - Moscow sightseeing
Your sightseeing tour features many outstanding highlights such as Red Square, the Kremlin Walls and St. Basil's domed Cathedral. During your stay, why not visit the Treasure Chamber of the Tsars or take a trip to nearby Zagorsk - a centre of Russian art and architecture, as well as once being the religious capital of Russia. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 13 - Moscow - Smolensk - Minsk
An early departure takes you past Borodino, site of Napolean's great defeat. You stop for lunch near Smolensk before you cross the border and enter the independent state of Belarus and continue to Minsk, rebuilt in supreme Soviet style after the Second World War. Here an orientation takes you along wide avenues and past gargantuan concrete buildings - a legacy of the city's Soviet past. Tonight you enjoy a dinner of traditional cuisine at your hotel. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Day 14 - Minsk - Brest - Warsaw (2 nights)
Today's drives takes you via the vast plains of White Russia and the Pripet Marches to the Polish frontier at Brest Litovsk where you stop for lunch. From here you cross the River Vistula before arriving in Warsaw, capital of Poland, for your two-night stay. (Buffet Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

15 - Warsaw sightseeing & at leisure
Your morning sightseeing features the Old Town, reconstructed after wartime destruction and the site of the Warsaw Ghetto. This evening after dinner, why not listen to a Chopin piano recital? (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 16 - Warsaw - Berlin
Today you travel across the central plains of Poland to Poznan, with its charming City Hall and Gothic churches. Then you continue to the border town of Frankfurt-an-der-Oder and into Germany, where you are soon are back in Berlin. (Buffet Breakfast)

Day 17 - Depart Berlin
Bid farewell to Europe and your new-found friends as you transfer you to the airport for your return flight home. (Buffet Breakfast)
